The 19th International Myopia Conference, hosted by the Aier Eye Hospital Group, was held from September 23 to 28, 2024, in Changsha and Sanya, China. The 19^th IMC attracted more than 500 foreign experts and scholars from over 50 countries and regions across six continents to China. The conference featured 11 free paper sessions, 9 invited thematic symposiums, 10 heated debates, over 80 academic presentations, and over 400 poster displays. It provided an interactive platform for domestic and international experts to exchange ideas and share new concepts and research findings in the field of myopia.
